Privacy Policy

Caishen is an invoicing workspace for freelancers. You sign in with your Whop account and subscribe to Caishen Pro. This policy explains what we store and who else touches it.

• Account details from your Whop sign-in: your user ID, name, username and email address.
• Your workspace data: business details, clients, invoices, estimates, recurring schedules, time entries, expenses and settings, including the names, emails and addresses of your clients that you enter.
• Basic technical data such as pages visited, through the Whop hosting the site runs on.

Your workspace is saved in a cloud database under your Whop user ID, so it syncs across your devices. A copy is also kept in your browser so the app works offline.

Only you, signed in with your Whop account, can load your workspace through Caishen. Caishen's operator has technical access to the database that stores it.

Shared invoice links contain the invoice itself inside the link. Anyone you give a link to can open that invoice, so share them only with the intended client.

Whop: sign-in, subscriptions, and, if you turn on online payments, a payouts account in your name and the checkout your clients pay through. Whop's own terms and privacy policy apply to those.

Email delivery: when you send an invoice from Caishen, the email contents and the recipient address are passed to our email provider to deliver it.

AI features: when you use the assistant, "Fill with AI", AI email writing, AI invoice checks or AI insights, the relevant invoice or summary details are sent to an AI provider to generate a reply. They are only sent when you press those buttons.

Cloud database hosting for your workspace.

• We do not sell your data or your clients' details.
• We do not send emails to your clients on our own. Every invoice or reminder email is one you review and send.
• Caishen does not hold your clients' card details. Card payments happen on Whop checkout.

• You can download a full backup of your workspace in Settings at any time.
• You can delete your cloud copy in Settings under Your data. That removes your workspace from our database and clears it from this browser. Your Whop account, any payouts account and payments already processed through Whop are separate and managed with Whop.
• You can cancel your subscription through Whop at any time.

We keep your workspace for as long as you keep it. If you delete it, it is removed from the database. Copies in other browsers you used remain until you clear them.

You are responsible for having a good reason to store and email your clients' details, such as completing the work you were hired for, and for following the privacy laws that apply to you.
